Valve announced additional requirements for all developers of computer games, which plan to sell them through the online service Steam. Now, the authors will be obliged to spread only real screenshots of the gameplay.
The new requirements from Valve says that the game developers is forbidden to spread the Steam pre-processed photo of gameplay and other images, as they must first of all give full and accurate information about the game.
As an example, the company Valve considered one of their games, and explained how to should not be framed page with the game.
It is likely that these changes are connected with future updates online service Steam, which in the future will help new developers to promote their games to the masses.
